Gary Papa, a longtime anchor for WPVI-TV channel 6 ABC daily sports news he did air
whence his defeat from prostate cancer supportive family colleagues did somberly blare
anchored this philadelphia station since 1981 left peers bereft plus difficult to fill chair
yet batted and battled this terminal illness with ruthless gloved aplomb in tandem to dare
discuss (in his bravado) the impact said malady might drive any other mortal to despair
not to toss in the figurative towel sans being stricken with a disease and fate as not fair
nor did this genteel humble iconic jester kowtow an accursed fate with snarls or a glare
but chose to admonish and scrimmage with the grim reaper by showing pate without hair!

maybe merciful destiny could bring forth blessed bliss to salve this husbandless wife
family will severely grieve his loss includes said widow Kathleen losing her loving mate
their two young sons Nathaniel and Tucker will lack one special father dealing with strife
which injustice toward such paternal heirs firm believers in some deity must really hate
angels of merci could possibly ease the agony akin to heart pierced by a sharp knife
after anchor Peter Jennings of “Action News” arranged him to meet her on a blind date
a delivery-room nurse at Lankenau Hospital he wed October nineteen eighty five for life
progeny milestones personable papa never will witness hence sorrow might n’er abate!

if ye nada the sought party qua wife of personality epitomized by a colt or graceful eagle
please pardon moi attempting to send this communique
to aforementioned personage marching with august aura, charisma and dogma most regal
who hoops not to come across as some peculiar freak!
