Writing a Chapter About Innocent Love

A rush of adrenaline, my heart rate increases,

Everything else around me ceases,

The world stops, all turmoil ends,

We've crossed the line of being "just friends,"

My hand in yours, your hand in mine,

The words to describe are too hard to find,

But to my dismay, to my disbelief,

You did not feel the same as me,

I wonder, "what's wrong," you said it wasn't right,

How could I ruin such a glorious night,

And then it ended, with me in a rage,

As I finished the chapter and turned the page.
