A Season of Crystalline Thought

Becoming lost in the white noise of the season, a blanket of downy snow muffles the sounds of the day, the sharp bite of the wind weasels it's way past layers of clothing, fresh and bright distilled taste of cold settles on the lips with a blue temper...

All the while my dreams tease me with visions of far away lands
The sun flows radiantly through the day on the warm tropical breezes, sapphire waters awakened with jewel tones of innocence just within reach until...
I open my eyes...
