The Simple Lamppost

Description: The photograher says "the lamppost is really simple, but very old. Though the city (New York) is constantly being modified, certain things like lampposts stay the same. They are simple and reliable as opposed to extremely complex -- therefore no modifications are needed. Makes one wonder if complexity is really the best way to go; what is so wrong with simplicity?"

Natalie Grysko is a resident of New York, NY. She can be contacted at ngrysko [at] gmail.com.
