We laid there like we always have

She presses her lip against the rim of her pint glass
I try not to get spotted, but she catches me staring…

Once more I find myself starring into the Jamaican horizon
Cotton candy blue and pink I fix my eyes on…

She’s a good girl, she makes me smile
Even if, I haven’t caught her scent in a while…
